Today, in Pastor Vanderbilt’s absence, we welcome Randy Sakach to the pulpit.  Randy is a deacon at
Prince of Peace in White House and graciously agreed to fill in as Pastor and Sara have taken several youth from Ascension and Prince of Peace to the Mid-Winter Youth Gathering at Land  Between the Lakes.
 
2012 CHURCH MEMBER DIRECTORY—The 2012 Church Member Directory is available today on the table in the narthex.  If you find an error, please call the church office and let Julie know so a correction can be made.  Thank  you.
 
“OPEN” PROPERTY COMMITTEE MEETING —TODAY, FOLLOWING THE CHURCH SERVICE.
 
SEASON OF LENT— It is that time again.  DINNER SPONSORS AND ACOLYTES ARE NEEDED FOR THE MID-WEEK SERVICES.  A sign-up sheet is available on the table in the narthex, if you  would like to volunteer.
 
MARCH NEWSLETTER DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY  15th. 
 
SILVER STREAKS 55+  - There will be a brief meeting of the Silver Streaks, NEXT SUNDAY the 19th, in the Conference Room immediately following the service to make plans for the year.
 
FIRST OFFERING SUNDAY— We are asking all of our members to begin this new step forward
in spiritual growth and stewardship commitment on Sunday, February 19th.  We hope you will join
us.
 
BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION—I would like to thank everyone for saving the Box Tops for
Education  coupons.  I know the school really appreciates it.  Can you imagine getting a dime for something you  would ordinarily throw away?  For clarification, the label coupons must have an expiration date
on them to qualify.  We can't use just the logo.  Thanks again for all your help!  Jennifer J. Meyers
